If something has gone wrong we want to know, and we would rather resolve it directly than have you escalate it.

Stage one, tell us
Put your complaint in writing to info@eliteestateagentsnottingham.com, or to Elite Real Estates, 308 Carlton Hill, Nottingham NG4 1GD. Please include enough detail for us to identify the property or transaction, and say what you would like us to do about it.
We will acknowledge it in writing within three working days.

Stage two, our investigation
A member of senior staff not involved in the original matter will review the file, speak to the people concerned, and send you a written response within fifteen working days of our acknowledgement.
If we need longer, for example because someone is away or we are waiting on a third party, we will tell you why and give you a date.

Stage three, final viewpoint
If you are not satisfied with our response, ask us to review it. We will issue a final viewpoint letter within eight weeks of your original complaint. That letter closes our internal process.

Independent redress
If you remain unhappy after our final viewpoint letter, you may refer the matter to the independent redress scheme we belong to. You must normally do so within twelve months of that letter, and the scheme will usually expect you to have completed our process first.
Our scheme name and membership number are available on request from either office.
Referral to the scheme is free to you, and its decision is binding on us if you accept it.

Complaints about a tenancy deposit
Disputes about the return of a tenancy deposit at the end of a tenancy are handled by the adjudication service of the scheme holding the money, rather than through this procedure. We will tell you which scheme holds your deposit and how to raise a dispute with them.
